One Small Act of Care

Today, choose one small act of care.

It doesn’t have to be impressive or productive—just kind.

Maybe it’s a short walk.
Maybe it’s a warm shower.
Maybe it’s a simple meal or a phone call to someone safe.

Small steps count. They always have.

Caring for yourself is not selfish—it’s necessary. It’s one way God tends to your heart, often through the simplest acts. You don’t have to do everything today. You only need to do one small thing with love.

And that is enough for now.

“The steps of a person are ordered by the Lord.”
— Psalm 37:23

A Gentle Prayer

Lord,
Help me notice the small ways
I can care for myself today.

Give me permission to move slowly
and choose what brings rest and steadiness.

Bless each small step I take,
and remind me that You are guiding me—
one moment at a time.

Thank You for Your gentle care.
Amen.
