When Memories Bring Tears

If a memory brings tears, let them come.

You don’t need to hold them back or apologize for them.

Tears are not failure—they are love. They are the heart’s way of remembering what mattered, honoring what was shared, and acknowledging a bond that does not disappear.

God is not uncomfortable with your tears. He welcomes them. He understands the language of grief and meets you with compassion in every memory that stirs your heart.

You are not weak for crying.
You are loving.

A Gentle Prayer

God,
When memories rise
and tears follow,
help me receive them
without shame.

Hold me as I remember,
and comfort my heart
with Your nearness.

Thank You for honoring
the love behind every tear.

I trust You
with my sorrow
and my memories today. Amen.
