You are not a burden.
Not to God.
Not to those who truly love you.
You are a beloved daughter of God—seen, chosen, and deeply valued. Your needs do not make you weak, and your grief does not make you too much. You are worthy of care, patience, and kindness, exactly as you are.
God delights in holding you close, especially in your tender places.
You deserve gentleness—from others,
and from yourself.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.”
— 1 John 3:1
A Gentle Prayer
Loving Father,
Help me release the lie
that I am a burden.
Remind me that I am
Your beloved daughter,
worthy of care and compassion.
Teach me to receive kindness—
especially from You—
and to extend it to myself.
Thank You for loving me
so completely.
Amen.
