Your tears are not interruptions to faith

Tears do not mean you are weak. They do not mean you lack trust or strength. They are the honest expression of a heart that has loved deeply and lost greatly.

God is not uncomfortable with your tears. He does not rush them away or ask you to explain them. He draws near to you in them.

Your tears are not obstacles to faith.
They are invitations for comfort.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

A Gentle Prayer

God, meet me in my tears today.
Comfort me without rushing my grief.
Thank You for being near when my heart breaks open. Amen.
