Give yourself permission to feel it today—without apology.

You don’t need to explain your tears or push them away.

God is not afraid of your tears. He does not turn from your sorrow or rush you past your pain. He meets you right where you are, in the honesty of your feelings and the tenderness of your heart.

Crying is not weakness.
Feeling deeply is not failure.
Letting the tears fall can be part of healing.

You are safe to grieve in God’s presence. He holds every tear with care.

A Gentle Prayer

God,
Today I give myself permission
to feel what is in my heart.

I bring You my tears,
my sorrow,
and my weariness.

Hold me gently as I grieve,
and remind me that I am never alone.

Thank You for being a God
who is not afraid of my pain.
Amen.
