You are allowed to take up space—even in your grief.

You do not need to make yourself smaller to be acceptable. Your grief does not make you “too much,” and your needs are not an inconvenience.

God never asks you to hide your pain or minimize your sorrow. You are welcome in His presence exactly as you are—tearful, tired, and honest.

You are not taking up too much space.
You are taking up the space God has lovingly made for you.

A Gentle Prayer

God, help me release the fear that my grief is too much.
Remind me that I am seen, known, and welcomed by You.
Hold me close today. Amen.
