You don’t have to feel hopeful today to still be held by hope

Hope is not something you have to feel in order for it to be real. Some days hope feels strong and steady. Other days it feels distant, buried beneath grief, exhaustion, or uncertainty.

But even on the days when hope feels absent, God is still holding you. His promises do not rise and fall with your emotions. He remains faithful when your heart feels tired and unsure.

You don’t have to muster optimism or force yourself to look ahead. You only need to remain open to being held by a hopeful God who sees farther than you can right now.

Hope can carry you—even when you cannot feel it.

A Gentle Prayer

God, when hope feels far away, remind me that You are still the God of hope.
Hold me when I don’t have the strength to hold onto anything myself.
Help me trust that You are working beyond what I can see or feel today. Amen.
