Healing Takes Different Shapes

Some days healing looks like rest.

It’s allowing your body and heart to pause,
to breathe,
to be held without effort.

Some days healing looks like trying again.

Taking a small step forward, making a choice, or showing up even when it feels hard.

Both are holy.

God works in the stillness just as surely as He works in the movement. Rest is not wasted time, and effort is not proof of worth. Each day’s healing takes the shape God knows you need.

Trust that today’s way of healing—whatever it looks like—is enough.

A Gentle Prayer

God,
Thank You for meeting me
in both rest and effort.

Help me honor
the kind of healing
this day requires.

Give me peace
when I need to rest
and courage
when it’s time to try again.

I trust You
with today’s pace.
Amen.
