Nothing about this season was asked for. The life you are learning now came through loss, not desire. And yet here you are—showing up, adjusting, trying to understand who you are in a world that changed without your permission.
Learning takes time. So does grief. God is patient with your learning curve. He does not expect you to know how to live this life all at once.
You are allowed to learn slowly.
God is not in a hurry.

A Gentle Prayer
God, this life feels unfamiliar and unchosen.
Walk with me as I learn how to live again.
